Record Emergency Contact Information

By registering in the Emergency Contact Registration program, you make your emergency contact information available to law enforcement in the event you are involved in a crash or other emergency situation.

To register, visit the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles’ site and enter the names, address and telephone numbers for two emergency contact people. The information will be stored in a secure protected database with your driver record or identification card. This information may save crucial time if it becomes necessary to contact family members or loved ones. This service is only available to individuals holding a current Florida Driver License or Florida Identification Card.
